I wanted to put down a few thoughts about the BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico.  I hear the reports and have seen the devastation and potential for even more, that being said I want to add another perspective on the subject. 

I wonder if we realize that when we send the energy of sadness and blame and judgement to the situation we are adding more negative energy to the situation.  I once heard a great story about Mother Theresa, Someone asked her if she would join their march to protest the war, she replied " no I will not march to protest War ...but if you ever have a March for Peace, I will join you!"  This thought stuck with me.  We know as healers that we cannot heal with negative or dense energy we must heal in a higher vibration - this is why we send love to someone who is sick.  I also thought about the work of Masaru Emoto the Messages from the water scientist and what he found out about water.  He found that water responds positively to positive energy and does not form crystals when negative energy is directed at it. 

So I have decided that I choose to no longer send any sadness, blame or judgement to this situation, instead I am sending love understanding and compassion.  I am sending love to those who are desperately trying to right the wrong. I am sending love to the workers who have experienced such great loss, and feel so bad.  I am sending gratitude to BP because I know that they are trying to supply our need for fossil fuels so my house is warm and my car runs.  I am sending a warning, a road block to all the sentient sea creatures in the area saying turn around my friends this route is not safe, find an alternative route. I cannot undo what has been done but I can change how I feel about it, so I am sending love to the water and the oil so they can form beautiful loving crystals so we can turn the tide into a positive.
